Just in time for the 4th I completed my 13 CCR pvc frame for a matrix. I used 1/2 inch pvc. It is 16 feet wide and 5 feet tall. I used 2 1/2 inch deck screws in the uprights to hold the CCRs which are attached to 1/2 inch EMT conduit. I made the frame so the bottom CCR would be up out of the snow if I decide to use this for Christmas. The CCRs are the same ones I use at Christmas for my tree. I just laid them horizontally on the frame. Yes, I still have Christmas decorations up. Andy

The 8th Annual Virginia Mini will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2015. Matthew Satterwhite has graciously offered to host the mini this year. The location will be Hanover Academy located at 115 Frances Road in Ashland, VA 23005. Hanover Academy is just off I95 in Ashland which is on the north side of Richmond. The minis are an excellent opportunity to meet with other Christmas lighting enthusiasts to share ideas, design plans, implementation, sequencing or just to meet other with the same goals in Christmas lighting displays. We want to allow time for everyone attending to introduce th

I bought 5 great sequences from Dave for $35. They were worth every penny I spent. I would never have gotten that quality of a sequence doing it myself.

I also made one of the Winfield ferris wheels. It uses wooden gears and you need to be a good woodworker (which I am not) to get the gears cut out correctly. I ended up using a belt and pulley system. It is a good set of plans and is a popular item in my display.
