  1. May I get a copy as well? Also, do you happen to have You Shook Me All Night Long? tracystram@gmail.com

  3. It took about 4 hours all said and done. And I thought the same thing, one and done. Now I just need to figure out a better way to support them. They're kinda heavy so my infant shrub isn't able to hold it up very well. Might try using some tomato cages.
  4. If anyone has it, please and thanks! tracystram@gmail.com
  5. After having a few windy days, my lights on my shrubs were getting on my nerves. I looked into net lights, but they only seem to come in white or multi-color. I used some plastic mesh fencing, 400 LED lights and 400 zip-ties. Turned out well, just need to get it wrapped on the sides some so it doesn't look like a stop sign. 6. I use a free program called ActivePresenter to edit sing tracks and create my videos. It’s a little more user friendly than Audacity for editing audio files.
  7. Wow, I feel real dumb. I never even thought of turning off the auto-focus 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve also contemplated buying a <$100 drone. I’m pretty good at holding my phone still, but a hovering drone might yield better results.
  8. I thought my brand new iPhone Xs would have a better camera than a lot of handheld cameras out there, but alas it still likes to refocus a lot and it's annoying to watch. Wondering what a good alternative would be. Keep in mind, this is literally the only thing I will use it for, so I don't want to spend a ton of money.
  9. Here's what I've got so far: https://bit.ly/2TVtIY0
  10. It is extremely time consuming. But once you start doing it, it's hard to go back to purchased sequences. I started out by buying one, but then I had to re-arrange the channels to line up with my lights better. Then I started getting nit-picky about the beat and it just went downhill from there. I figure if I'm going to completely edit a purchased sequence, I might as well just start from scratch on my own.
  11. I'm an IT professional so the programming part was simple for me. I also used to take piano lessons as a child, so the musical element was also pretty easy. It's determining the light patterns for the artistic element that is tough for me. Once I think I'm done, I'll record it on my phone and watch it and be like "nope, need to change all these things" lol. I tried to keep it pretty simple this year, didn't want to completely freak my neighbors out. Luckily the entire neighborhood seems to love it so far.
  12. Thanks!! Every time I watch one of my videos I try to visualize what I'm going to add next year. Unfortunately the houses in my neighborhood are really close together with tiny yards, so I don't have a lot of space to work with. Might just upgrade to pixie lights instead of trying to add a bunch of more elements.
  13. After recording and making many many edits, I think this is the final version. I love the visualizer, but nothing beats real time
  14. Could someone send me TSO Mad Russian as well please? tracystram@gmail.com
  15. I’ll be posting my Wizards in Winter next. I recorded it tonight but noticed one channel was not playing due to me setting the unit ID instead of the channel 🙄
  16. I literally decided to do LOR 2 weeks ago so don’t be too harsh 😊
  17. That’s so funny! I was literally watching this video last night, I’m currently creating a sequence for the same song. Small world!!
  18. Here is the rope light I use. It's super bright and has no timing issues. Sections that had extra length I just taped over with electrical tape.
  19. I thought about that, but I have to take into account the extra time to leave it on until the rest of the lights turn off. It'd be so nice to just add a delay so a single channel can come on 1 second before all the rest. I'll probably just replace the light with something else that doesn't have a delay, since we're so close to kick off time.
  20. Ugh, so much extra work. Ok, thanks!
  21. I bought a neon light I'd love to use, but there is a 1 second delay from the time it get's power to the time it lights up. Is it possible to create a 1 second delay for a specific channel? Or do I just need to program the delay into my sequence?
  22. Primarily LED. Have 6 strands of incandescent from before LED Christmas lights were a thing. I've got 6 shrubs that have one incandescent plus 2 LED strands on them. Figured I might as well use them since I have them.
  23. Possibly, I'm brand new to LOR. I have 1 CTB16PC controller and am still trying to decide if I want to go ahead and get another this year, or wait until next year. I'm running out of Christmas lights, so I'd also have to sink some money into lights. I'll let you know if I want to buy one of your CTB16PC's, but if someone else wants to buy it before you hear back from me, go ahead and sell them.
