  1. Having 4 Windows on 1 group or each on their own channel is all up to you and how you want to do your shows. If they are all on their own channel you can still make them all do the same things but hen you can also have them do things on their own. You can have the windows chase ECT. It is what you want to make of your show. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  2. I asked the same question a few months ago about where to find the connectors that are on the floods and never got a clear answer so I ended up buying the extension cords from LOR as I only needed 10 to 20 foot lengths. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  3. So the other thing you can do to see where the hum is getting introduced is to unplug all audio input at the transmitter and then see if you have any hum on the radio, the transmitter will still be transmitting just will not be transmitting any outside sources you will have dead air so if all hum is gone then it is an issue with your cables feeding it. If you still have hum then it is an issue with the transmitter, could be dirty power going into the transmitter or the transmitter to close to other electronics giving it interference. You can try moving the transmitter to a different location o
  4. I am new to LoR this year, and so just starting off, I didn't convert any songs to mp3, yes some songs I had were already mp3 but other songs I just went into my iTunes library and copied the file song and put it in a folder on my computer i want all my LoR songs in. (All of my files for iTunes are stored in a network hard drive and I want to keep everything for my show local on computer so I don't have to worry about loosing any network connection) most of them are mp4 I believe and work fine. Should I have not been doing this and should they all be mp3? Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  5. Wish I seen this before I set my floods up, I used furing strips and hammered them in the ground and then screwer the bracket to the wood. I have to remove the flood from the bracket to get to the screws so that was a pia. I will have to look for these stakes for next year. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  6. So do you have a sub hooked to your computer and so it isn't putting out the lower bass frequencies on your line out port you have hooked to your transmitter? If that isn't the case then you need to check settings on the transmitter maybe. But to me it sounds like somewhere from the computer to the radio that is receiving the music it is loosing the lower bass frequencies. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

eBay is where I got some last year cheap but I found during the summer sale they were cheaper at LOR so I picked up 20 of each then. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  8. This is my first year using LOR and I thought I started early enough but yes I am starting to feel the pressure, though I don't throw the switch until the day after Thanksgiving. I need to run out to Lowe's after work today to get some more extension cords. I can't just run from one light string to the next anymore. I have almost all my stuff up the big stuff left to do is all the ladder work, 2 upper windows and the roof line outline. Then it is running tests to see how different it is in real as opposed to visualizer. Oh and then it will be the going back to add the extra channels in the pro
  9. Hi all, so I just got my summer sale order in the mail and now going through it all as this in my first LOR equipment. Anyway I got the RGB flood plug N play package. I s that they sale flood extension cords with the plugs on the ends already but do you know what kind of 4 pin plug they are and where I could buy just the plugs so I can make my own custom length extension cords. I don't want to have to plug a lot of these premade cords in together to get the lenths I may need and really don't want to remove the short tails in the cabinet with the card in it. Thanks for any help. Sent from my

  11. That is very strange that you say LOR isn't on Facebook because there is a page (not a group) that says it is you, it even posted about how members of your team will be at the Christmas show the week of July 11th and also posted back in may how the NY office was going to be closed due to utility work and so orders would be delayed. It even talked about the spring sale and it looks like that is when the page got created, this past April. Oh and someone as LOR has answered back to people asking questions about when the summer sale is going to be(well saying that they will not tell us when) Sen
  12. Thanks for the info, yes I missed the spring sale and have been now waiting for the summer sale. So for now you are all saying use my computer to run the show and I don't need the director. Yes I don't have alot of money so that is why I plan to start with no rgb this year. Oh and I am planning on getting the controller's that I have to hook the cords into to save a few $$. Oh and I already know once I get some stuff I will be wanting more and more. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk
  13. Hi, so I am brand new to this, I have been doing Christmas lights for years and years now but never done them to lights. I have never done them to music and now am going to step in to the big boy game and do it. So my question for everyone that is willing to help me is this. What do I need to (should I) buy for my first year to start off. I am thinking that I will get two of the PC-CTB16PC-COMPLETEcontrolers that would give me 32 channels to start with, I only have multi colored lights that I will be using for the first few years. I think it will be a few years before I get into the RGB st
  14. I have been coming to this site and following Facebook page almost everyday ever since I found they have a FB page and since I never got an email and missed the spring sale. I have no hardware yet just lots of lights and this is going to be my first year with having a LOR set up. I can't wait. Oh and this is my first post to the forums (figured I had to start posting somewhere at some point LOL)
