  1. That totally brought tears to my eyes!! Thanks so much for sharing! ❤️
  2. I found some wire at my local Habitat for Humanity ReStore. It doesn't say Spt1 or Spt2 on it like other wire that I've seen, also one side is copper and the other side is silver colored The wire says "Cooper Mountain Spur Incorporated ES7497 CL2 18AWG (UL) Made in USA". I've tried on google but haven't been able to find much info. My questions are: is this basically the same as SPT wire? If so would it be Spt1 or Spt2? Thanks so much!!
  3. So is there any chance of doing an addition to your existing house, so that you can stay where you are? That seems like it would be the best solution.
  4. In my pre-show days, I always believed in lights from Thanksgiving through New Years. Since starting a show, and realizing that several people in my neighborhood leave their lights on through January 6th, that's what I do also. So far, I've never had anyone stop and complain about missing my show. I got lucky this year, with both health and weather, and my lights are down, over two full weeks earlier than last year!! This year, I also had NO GFCI trips, and only one computer restart issue (after a power outage). My best year yet!!! Monica
  5. Bummer! Thanks for the response though. I'm sure some will jump at them!
  6. Are they warm white, or cool white?
  7. I grabbed two of the 500' SPT-1. Guess I'm committing myself to more work!!
  8. I made wood bases for my mini trees, and dipped my stakes in Plastidip, and with that combo didn't have problems with my mini trees. Next up is wood bases for my reindeer, and snowman!
  9. My lights have been turned off for almost three weeks, but until a few days ago, the weather was not cooperating (I'm a wimp and won't go out if it's too cold, or raining....too many health issues). The weather finally got semi decent, and of course I got sick!! Hoping that I'm better before the weather turns again! I'm in a HOA, and lights are supposed to be down by February 1, but I don't think it's gonna happen. If I get a nasty-gram from the HOA, so be it!!
  10. I would totally order one of these if available somewhere!!!
  11. I'd love a copy too, for when I either start learning to sequence, or get a helper. Thanks!! Jackson_monica@hotmail.com Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I think with all you have going on, that it would be more than reasonable to take this year off. Wishing you a quick recovery, quick repairs, etc. Monica
