  1. Hello all, yes, I am still lurking around...

I have only one 4th of July sequence I play every year (armed forces melody, 13 row). Would love to have another one or two to add.

I run e131 but can easily convert a CCR sequence. My last sequence I got from the good people at HS but seems they only offer 24 row matrix now.

I am using S4 with no plans to jump to S5 this year. Any help will appreciated - thanks!

Since the question was asked in the S5 software Suite section of the forum, and the topic title specifically asked about previews (something that did not exist until S5), I would say there is a pretty good chance that the question and answer relates to S5 :)  Yes, the screen shot was from 5.3.36

Just because something is in S5 does not mean it did not previously exist in S4. I thought that maybe I was missing something. Thanks for clearing that up.

  4.  total HD failure.

I never put a great deal of effort into backing up but with all the work I put into sequencing and vis files, and the heart breaking stories of people losing all their work I have read on this forum, I backed everything up 3 different ways.

With my repaired computer back in my hands, I began to reinstall my programs. LOR made it soooo easy and with the new speed of my comp I was done in seconds. Opened my cloud drive and BAMMM - all my lms, sup, vis, and audio where there safe and sound. I shed a tear.

I thought I would share a happy ending story since we always seem to hear of the bad one where all is lost.

People: if it happened to me it could happen to you. get a cloud drive, thumb drive, ext HD, email your sequences to yourself - whatever, MAKE COPIES!

K6CCC, thanks for the link.  Wow, will have to spend some time examining it.  Quick look, looks interesting, may get some real ideas.

saxon, what is your lengths for the 12 ribbons?

mpageler, I used something like this when I built my original mega tree with the spirals about 5 years ago.  This may help with the aspect ratios.

sorry for the slow reply - 5 meters

If you can search for James Morris or go to the “sequence sharing” section of the forum.

    The majority will be from

James and I. Just post within the sequence you want and he will share. I am away from Computer for a while.

We only have 24x50 however if you get the appropriate SuperStar license you can convert the size down in a few seconds

You will receive the entire package house, ccr tree, matrix s my singing face sequences.

PM if you need additional assistance.

I apologize, I did not realize you responded, thanks a lot, I will take you up on that for next 7/4.

Thanks for the tip on the mirrored display. I’ll give it a try.

Duplicating my main screen should work well for my Halloween display which is just looping a single show with videos in all the sequences. Where I’ll run into trouble is during Christmas. Every 30 minutes I run a show that last 12-15 minutes. Between those shows I have a looping animation. I guess I can try and hide everything on my desktop for those moments when there is no video being played.

exactly. Halloween I run a video media sequence about every other sequence. My desk top is all black - I click on the screen and it gives option to hide all icons - my task bar is set to hide when the curser is not at the bottom. <remember to disable screen saver>

Finished updating my drivers and that seems to have fixed my resizing issue in the show player. Thanks for the reminder!

The only issue I’m seeing now is during a show, a small windowed version of the video pops up for less than a second, as it moves between sequences, before going full screen on my projector. Any thoughts on a possible fix?

This happens to some machines, like ours. It is frustrating. There is a post where I have given a few work arounds to the problem but, I can not seem to go back that far in this forum. I also tried to google it, cant find, maybe admin can help find it. I will be glad to work with you and try to remember my work arounds, the last work around seems to be a permanent fix for me, anyway.

-maybe resize your pop up to full screen and shut off full screen in settings, didn't work for me but did for some -

-Do not start your 'start up, show, or shut down' with a video, works for some but 90% of the time for me it plays the video in the tool bar and there it stays for the remainder of your show.

= what worked for me is NOT to use the extend or second monitor option. The pop up doesn't appear on my screen in duplicate mode so try that. Yes, the video displays on my comp screen during a show also but, better than having a pop up.

these tips were used in S4 with Windows. There were more trick in the post, I just cant remember them - good luck
