  1. This is a serious problem. Causing hours of delay. Finds the file but always stuck at 7th bar. Then often it receives the error... "The media file for this sequence could not be converted to the LOR internal media format. While the media file may work, some of the functions, such as "Play Speed" or "Play Range", may not, or may work incorrectly." What is most funny about this is it did prior years.
  2. Hello, I just was looking around again and saw this post. http://forums.lightorama.com/index.php?/topic/33585-encrypted-sequence-copy-error/?hl=%2Bcannot+%2Bcopied I was on the plane last week and my work pc had the demo error perhaps I got to open it there and resave. Wow I did this to all my sequences.
  3. Hello, Another fun event. I am Trying to edit/update last years sequences. I get an error while copying channel data.... "Data from an Encrypted sequence cannot be copied except on the sequence's Originating computer." I added to the sequence last year. I have my own stuff in there that I am copying, not even the CCR data. For example: Last year I bought a CCR sequence, then added my additional controllers. So this year I am trying to copy that channels data and paste it on my other channels and I am getting this error. I work between 3 different computers work, house and office. I

  5. Hello... Last year's sequences... adding new stuff. I have a new Config file with updated information, more controllers changed tracks. As I import to existing sequences, it breaks out my groups/controllers. (i.e. my 12 CCRs turn into 12x150+ individual channels.) I want them to stay grouped and my channels from my "Master" track on my config file just appended. KD
  6. Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I understand the gauge/loss/resistance decision. Not many provide that spec on 4-wire. As per creativelighting site. I checked it out. May be an option. Wanted to get a significant role of it as I'll be cutting the ends off anyway. Thanks Again.
  7. Hello, Very Simple Question: I have dumb LED Strips. Would like to add 4-wire extention to the strips. Need to go 20-40 ft. to the controller. When browsing Amazon etc, I only see flat-4 RGBB wire for sale. Where would I find outdoor 4-wire to extend to LED strips. (Thinking the round outdoor in black sheath stuff.) Is the flat RGBB stuff good enough? Is it waterproof? Affected by distance or other elements? i.e Link: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DPQMKBS/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=DMUOGSBGS0JX&coliid=I1VT0WQ4SH60GE Thank You, Karl
  8. Hello, 1st Year, I have setup my CCR tree. It is working great with a few songs purchased. Now completing an additional 48 channels througout the yard. 1) Is there an easy way to merge the 48 channels to the 12-CCR channels? Even if it is using the random sequencer. When I tried to import a configuration to the CCR Sequence it overwrote the 12 CCR channels. Was reading the forums and may have learned that if I add 48-channels at the top, then import my 48 channel configuration, it will put them at the top above my CCR sequences, correct? Will try this later tonight but wanted to be
  9. Wow, reading through this; I just ordered 22G 4-wire strand to extend this weekend. Just arrived. My tree is 12 ft wide at bottom, box in middle, still the Control wire is not enough to take all cables to the far ends. (Perhaps I should only try one to get the 12th ribbon to reach? Wondering what I should do. Plus isn't this a risk of theft, from kids/vandals if we cannot take a longer cable to better protect the investment? Was going to solder, and heat shrink each connection and hopefully expert solder joints.
  10. Thanks! Just curious of what you mean by the "4 core pigtails." I'd love to use the same connector that goes into the controller. Does anyone have the type of plug that goes in to the controller that I can purchase? So I'd need a female and male end (little black 4 wire) I'd just make an extension cable between the connectors already there, eliminating solder, heat tube etc. I think I'd just run these 12 lines in plastic tube back to the control box.
  11. Hello, I wanted to put my 12CR150s in 1 water proof box. Length of base of tree is 12' If box is in center it is a bit tight to run to left and right for the 1st, 2nd and 11th and 12th strips; Assuming I Can extend the 4-wire control cable without any issues? Could make 2 boxes of 6 but really didn't want to. Putting the hardware at top of tree is really not an option. Thoughts? Karl
  12. Thanks for the post, and Frank for leading me to the other thread on pictures and diagrams. Last night I've completed my idea; It's assembled except for a few cross supports, currently, on the ground. A little more than 12 ft on bottom, and 2-5/8" spacing at the top, approx 29". I used L-Channel, (like used in drop ceilings), not the steel due to accessibility/price. It's hard to find materail that is semi-water resistant/proof wouldn't rot for less cost. Lowes had something like the steal 1" square post. It was a good penny especially for 24 of them @ 8 ft pieces @ $15ea. (I think.
  13. Hello, A newbie. I am excited to get my 12 CCR ribbons on Monday. Planning to build a 12 strip CCR tree. Plan: I will attach the 12 strands at the top 2 inches apart, opening wider to approx 6ft apart at bottom. Does this sound right? Also from the top to the bottom will come forward approx 5 feet to get past a garden. Every 6" separation on bottom between each strand. 5ft away from the top of the tree where I mount it to the side of the house.
