C6 LED Grass Border
Big Sanch Mafia replied to Big Sanch Mafia's topic in General Decorating Questions
Thanks Don, I thought about those and i have some test. best part there is that i can leave the bulbs attached and roll the strings up at the end of the year. Thanks -
There year i am going to run a border of Red, Green, blue LED C6 strings along my grass to make a border. i would like each bulb to stand up straight. any ideas? The only one i can think of is to staple each string to a pice of 1x3, stapling by each side of the light to get it to stick up. Then drill a hole at the top, middle and bottom of the 1x3 so i can put a steak or rebar into the wood to hold it to the grass. any one have any other ideas or ideas to improve on mine? Thanks Chad

How to repair Cat5 Ports?
Big Sanch Mafia replied to Big Sanch Mafia's topic in LOR Hardware - General
Jim, ya its crapping rain here.. flooding every where. should be to you shortly. Thanks for the feedback, i'll contact LOR and see what they say. Thanks -
I had issues when starting my show this year, randomly the input CAT5 port for #1 didnt work and the output CAT5 port for #4 didnt work for some reason, both were Gen 3 controllers. I moved controllers around and what not to get the show to work. but now im stuck with 2 controllers that need repaired. any tips on how to do this or is there anyone out there that i could send my boxes to to repair? Does LOR provided this service? Thanks Chad

Port Not Found on controller #1
Big Sanch Mafia replied to Big Sanch Mafia's topic in General LOR Questions
good point, i'll look into them next month. Thanks for your help -
in case anyone is reading..seems like im posting to myself..haha ok..finally the show is up and running. what i found out is that the output for #4 was not working. so i switched controller 7 to 4 and 4 to 7 and it all works. so the kicker is that my original #1 controller that is gen3 the input port stopped working and the #4 controller that was a Gen3, the output port stopped working. meanwhile the gen 1 and gen 2's work fine. any reason for this. all the prongs on the cat5 ports looked fine. Thanks

Big Sanch Mafia replied to Big Sanch Mafia's topic in General LOR Questions
i haven't looked at that yet.. i'll try to take a peak now even tho its dark outside. i'm think maybe because its gen1 controller that i need to run it on its own network?? not sure just frustrated as crap as my show has been up fpr 2 days and i can only get half of the controllers to work. -
Port Not Found on controller #1

Thank u.. At this point I have 1-4 working fine. But iblose signal at #5 which is a gen 1 controller. Maybe it's a network speed thing? Any trouble shooting at this point you would recommend? Thanks so much -
also how can i tell what speed im running it at right now? i just went into SE and opened network preferences under port - com3 and it says next to speed 5706k (recommended) i've never adjusted this before. so would you think its at 57.6k or 500k by default? I guess i can apply 57.6k to all my sequences and reload into my show. thoughts... or do i change speed in the hardware utility too? i appreciate the help
