  3. Check out this page for capabilities for the different LOR license levels: http://www1.lightorama.com/sequencing-suite-software/ You need at least an Advanced level license to control all the ports of a Pixie 16, and if you want to use Motion Effects (what was called Pixel Editor in S4), you need a Pro level license. You said you have other non-RGB controller. I am going to assume those are Unit IDs 01 & 02, and I'm betting that your new Pixie 16 is also showing up as Unit ID 01 (which means it is really Unit IDs 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 09, 0A, 0B, 0C, 0D, 0E, 0F, &a

  4. First of all you will need to upgrade your license to Pro as a Basic license will not run a Pixie16.

  5. I will not be much help for you SORRY, I too have a Pixie16 and was having problems getting it to work. Being short on time I bought the Pixcon16 board and swapped out the boards. It took a while to figure out how to set it up but, it is working. Hope in the Spring to figure out the Pixie16. I was able to get the first about 6 nodes to light and that was it. I was trying to run in DMX and learned the Pixie16 will not run in DMX. That is why I bought the Pixcon16. I have not used S5 yet as I was not familiar with it. I do wish you luck. This is a fun hobby and although expensive it i

  7. And when you do have the audio file, go to "Sequence -> Media File" (in S5) to choose the file.

  8. The Media file can't be given away due to Copyright laws. You need to buy the one the sequence was designed to There should be notes or even a link. Some LOR packages do include Licensed media, because they are licensed by the owner to do so.

  9. You have the lms file BUT YOU DO NOT HAVE the MP3 music file. This is why you are getting that Media File Not Found error. The Sequence DOES NOT contain the music, it is separate and you have to purchase the Media File it's looking for. Once purchased, then you go and add it back in to the Sequence, to marry the two together, the Sequence and MP3 file must be combined by the sequencing software. You only have 1/2 of the process needed to make the sequence function. Any shared sequences you download will {usually} MOST ALWAYS give this error, unless they are purchased an

  10. The .loredit file is a S5 specific file that is used in the Sequence Editor in S5. LOR S4 wouldn't know what that file is, thus it can't open it. The person who supplied the file to you could create a playback file, which would be the LMS file you are used to, but there is no guarantee it would work on your S4 install.

  11. Do not limit yourself to requesting 32 channel sequences. Couple reasons. First, you WILL upgrade down the road, and that 96 channel sequence you dismissed will be just what you need. Second, because your channel layout likely does not exactly match what the other guy has, so you will be picking and choosing parts to get your 32 channels filled. Much easier to do that when the source sequence has more channels. For example if you have four two color mini trees, you may grab a certain group of channels from the source for part of the song and a different group of channels from the source f
