  1. As a current cop, I'd just like to say how much I appreciate all of your efforts to add some blue to your display this year - more importantly, for the reasons you're doing it. I come into contact with people on a regular basis who do not like me, solely based on my chosen profession. I'm well aware there is still a lot of good in the world, and you folks are fine examples of that. As for Old Sarge - There's always someone who has to take a positive and turn it to a negative, but I didn't expect it to be you. Before becoming a cop, I served 4 years in the U.S. Army. 2. Thank you and it sure would be nice if everyone could follow the saying, "IF YOU CAN'T SAY SOMETHING NICE, DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL".

  3. sorry I dont have any pics but just measure the size of the plywood you need to mount in the frame where the sign would be... drill a few holes in the side mount it and then just mark and drill holes whrer the screws need to be to mount your controllers... Its not rocket science.

  4. Check with your local realtors for old metal frames. Buy them at scrap metal prices, spray paint, bolt in a piece of thin plywood and they hold up to 4 controllers (two sided) and an outside outlet with rain cover. Often, they'll even give them to you for free just to haul them away! I recommend used ones, but here's a sample of brand new ones for $20 ea. http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Pack-18-X24-REAL-ESTATE-ANGLE-IRON-FRAME-YARD-SIGN-/222102125986?hash=item33b6517da2:g:rqQAAOSwa39UubPC We need to keep our connections out of the snow here.

  6. You're welcome Dave. I myself have PLENTY to work on with a new layout for the THIRD TIME. (This will also be my third year doing this, and I still don't have a full playlist organized for Christmas yet.)

  7. I understand exactly what you're saying. But keep in mind that you're going to have the same number of pixels up there just wired differently and you're going to lose some flexibility whith your sequencing. For instance everything will look fine if you're running colors up and down but what if you want to sweep from side to side? I would wire all your pixels in a series just to keep your options open. This is a case of been-there-done-that
