Yeah, I told Sharon the same thing. She reminded me that not only didn't we win the Powerball this weekend, but my office here at home was way too small to house the army of people required to program it. Still - it sure looks like a great use for a thousand or so CCR's...

I was on AIM with a friend of mine during the super bowl telling her I wish I could do this out side my house, and she agreed it would be awesome :)

Humm I wonder if the NFL would be intreated in donating some of the set to all of us... There is quite allot to go around.

Maybe thats where all the CCR went and why there are few videos of them on line..

Knowing the NFL, they have probably applied for the Copyrights to ALL light shows and will not allow any at Christmas!!! LOL

The halftime show was much better than the commercials this year. IMHO. I can remember when the Who were young. Can you?

I think I can remember that far back, not sure... It was an awesome halftime show, something new for the NFL, at least they didn't have all those kids standing around the stage and screaming for a group yhey had never heard of...

Now how in the heck has George gotten dragged back into this mess of a thread? I don't remember "danging" anyone...

But since we're talking about memory, I can remember when Keith Richards hadn't yet become a clock-stopping ugly caricature of himself.

I must be too old. My grandfather always use to say," We will get it done by George" or something like that. Just an old saying, not referring to anybody. Sorry George.

Well Simmons, but I think they both apply. I'll be 58 next week, so I got a few months on George S.

Close but no cigar, its the 15th., and yes you can . One or two PC controllers would be very nice thank you. And then you can start thinking what you will get George S. in April I think. Maybe all of us LOR'er get get him a face lift.:):D. If you want I'll PM you my address, I'll even pay for shipping.

Dang, I thought I was one of the oldest farts here... but you're right Pete, you got me by a couple months. And yes Jim, I'll be as happy as ol' Pete to take delivery of a couple of 16pc's and I'll pay the shipping also. I'll even buy you a case of Coors.

And watch that talk of a face lift or else I'll have to get my doppleganger after ya... not many people know this, for obvious reasons I suppose, but Carl Zachary and I are practically identical twins. I showed my daughter his picture - the one with the moose rack he used to use as his avatar, and she thought it was me.

Sorry George,

I was talking about your "Blue Face" on your house. I would never say anything about your looks, especially after I see myself in the mirror every morning. Or is that "mourning"?

im pretty sure all that equipment was rented for the show... the NFL itself doesnt own it.. someone on Planetchristmas is trying to get the info on what was used and post it there....

its a neat effect in a large venue but not sure how it would look in a yard, mainly because the viewing angle in a stadium is much steeper, whereas the viewing angle in a yard is pretty small.. meaning the average viewer's eyes are only a few feet off the ground as opposed to a football stadium...
