Modulating Animated Voices..ie slurring the notes

Hope I'm making this understsandable.

Working on the vocal animations on my O fortuna seq. There is a section near the end were the voices modulate the tone from hi to low.

Sort of like slurring the notes, as if doing a scale.

Any recommendations, on how to recreate that type of look ising open closed mouth sequencing.

I'm guessing you would have to do some overlapping fades. Does that sound right?
