LightORamaJohn Posted August 20, 2009 Share Posted August 20, 2009 During endurance testing of the Color Ribbons we found two mechanical problems that we felt were serious enough to change the manufacturing process. The new ribbons are being manufactured now and we should have them by the 2nd week in September.Because of this we decided to ship the rest of orders that were being delayed by CCR availability. And I was so looking forward to a new blinky to start working with next week.But I would have to agree, if they found something to cause them significant enough concern as to decide to delay the product, then little doubt that it is the correct decision.Disappointed, but appreciative. JBullard Posted August 20, 2009 Share Posted August 20, 2009 I was a little disappointed also when I open my UPS shipment a few minutes ago.But I very much appreciate if LOR found a potential problem, that they are taking steps to rectify it before shipping the product.I can continue to be patient and wait knowing the CCR's will be first class when they do arrive. The CCR addition means significant changes to our display (not to mention lots more programming!)I need to decide in the next couple days if I will or won't add the CCR this year.Has anyone heard when the orders will ship yet?
