I believe you are talking about the small box that appears (control box) You can enable or disable the show with this box. After you have completed a sequence and saved it....then made a show, this function will enable the show to play. Read up on it in the LOR help file.

Keep it disabled until you are ready to run a show. You first have to create one or more sequences with the Sequence Editor. Then build a show with the Show editor (a show is like a list of sequences) You then schedule when the show will run with the Schedule Editor.....

Once you have a show built and scheduled.... Then the Enable/Disable shows button has meaning. When you Enable Shows the Schedule will be followed and your shows will start automatically at the correct time. If you Disable Shows the shows that are scheduled will not run...

Anytime you are using an LOR tool like Hardware Utility or Sequence Editor make sure that Shows are disabled... That is becuase the Show Player will take hold of the serial port and not share with the other programs if you have shows enabled.
