chowell
This year I have built 10, 4ft tall, 2" PVC candy canes. Five will line each side of the driveway. I need some ideas on how to anchor them to get them to stand up. In the past with my smaller canes, I have hammered rebar or stakes into the ground and then slid them over the top with success. However, these are much taller and much wider. I can't wire them because they sit right next to the driveway so you can't anchor in two directions.Any ideas on what I can do to stand them up?Thanks much!Corey
Dr. Jones
one thought-use a concrete stake and ty-wrap to the cane ( my personal preferance is to drill into the pvc and put the stake on the inside)
RickMosher
Corey,I have a couple of things I built out of 2" PVC this year also. I just pounded T-Posts into the ground and slid the PVC over the top.RickPS Where in Ogden are you? I'm in South Ogden myself.
