What you want are lots of USB ports (mostly USB2 for LOR adapters) I picked up this Dell Optiplex for $316 https://www.amazon.com/Dell-Quad-Core-Professional-Certified-Refurbished/dp/B077N5TLVR?ref=pf_ov_at_pdctrvw_dp It had a SSD and a 2T HD (except they forgot to configure the HD. it was there and spinning, but they did not tell the OS to use it ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
k6ccc Posted March 21, 2020 Share Posted March 21, 2020 One of my standard statements about computers is this. Unless you NEED a portable computer, go with a desktop. For the money, you get far more computer capability, they are easier to repair or add capability, and spare parts are FAR more common. Most of the computers I have bought in the past two decades are refurbs. Most of those are lease returns.
