Error 24 in Verifier. Sequence will NOT work

This is my first time attempting this. Spent a month wiring up the 8 strands for a basic setup to see if I like it to expand it. 

So, I run the Hardware test. All lights come on, YAY!  I figure out I am using GRB so now colors match.

They all light up, the chase works etc.

So on to sequencing. I watch the video from here http://www1.lightorama.com/tutorials/    (S5 preview for smart pixels)

 

I have a sequence, it plays in the sequencer.
The Hardware can control the lights, testing works all 8 used channels (Pixie 16).
I run the control panel then the network config to make sure it says com5 (the one from the hardware setup) and then go to play show on demand.
Select the show show I made (1 musical and that was all)
It plays the song but no lights are on when it plays. BUT when I bring up the hardware it still lights up the lights.
Pixie 16, using ports 1-8 PRO software license.

So I ran Verifier and I am getting error 24.
So I took the song, ran through audacity, exported as mp3.
Remade the sequence, did the 1 show, SAME ERROR!!

So I connected the laptop, and selected new sequence (copied the sequence grid from the other one) and this time I selected connecting to controller in sequencer. It loaded up, I pasted in my grid. I hit play and only the first 12 LEDs on strand 1 light up as they should.
HOWEVER, in the test hardware, all lights work, all colors, all LEDS. So I am doing something wrong. I watched the video on how to set it up before i did all this.Also in Verify, I tried to select single sequence, but it shows no sequences! (are these for animations only??)

Ignore that message.  I sent in a note to LOR and they told me they were still working on converting the code from S4 to S5.  My show has been working despite those errors.

You are closing the HU and Sequencer before playing the show?

Only one program can control the com port at one time.
