Ok, I got my lights up, channels designated and plugged in. Controller powered up and sequence queued up. What do I do to start the show? Just click play all on the computer?

Create a show using show editor

Set a schedule using schedule editor.

Right click on red LOR lightbulb in System tray and enable schedule.

Play it in Sequencer, or make a single sequence show, and play it on demand.

So I made a show, set it for a time and when the time came the music started but the lights wouldn't light. Any ideas?

Like I said, cautiously test them at 100 percent, and if you try to dim them watch for smoke.

Frankly, if they're incandescent I would junk them and get some LEDs

Is your laptop running Windows 10S? In "S" mode, you can only install apps from the Microsoft Store. If so, you need get out of "S" mode. A quick search will give you the instructions.

At least break them into a few

1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4 with the 1's on a channel and so forth (Marquis style chase)

Spools of SPT1 and vampire plugs + sockets are your friend  :)

SPT1 is also called lamp cord that you can purchase at Lowes or home Depot. Many Lighters use it to make their own extension cords as it gets expensive to purchase actual extension cords.

NO. 1 strand has 1 plug

You want many strands.

SPT and vampire plugs allow us to build our own extension cords.  I have a row  of paired candy canes. They run on 2 channels. I just  put  outlets along the cords (1 for Red, 1 for Green)
