homingpigeon
Does anyone know what this error means? The sequence plays fine but it won't save my changes. "A problem ocurred while saving the file: Invalid character in the given encoding. Line 76, position 25." Hopefully I can fix it rather than have to start again ! homingpigeon
It shut down and discarded all my changes, so that answers the question. I'm off for a strong drink.
PhilMassey
Reboot. Re open the file and make a minimal modification. Try and save. If it works proceed with caution, saving often.
homingpigeon
Hi Phil, thank you for your advice. I have found a bug in S5 with Superstar using the image function. If you use SS to rotate an image, it puts the symbol for degrees after the rotation number in the image list, and that character is the one that S5 doesn't like. So make sure you modify the name to remove that symbol
PhilMassey
⁸Always good to know you found a cause. You might want to start a new post in SS to be sure Brian sees it I'm from Leicestershire myself.
homingpigeon
Thanks Phil. I reported it in the SS forum. Brian has confirmed the bug and the workaround. He's quick as it's fixed for the next release!
