Hello, i run a christmas lightshow in the Netherlands using light o rama controllers.

some items of mij display are lit (leak power) even when the controllers are in stand by.

how can i solve that?

i use american light strings and put an transformer to 240V between the lights and the controller.

TIA!

Ronald

Hilsen Ronald!

Greetings Ronald !

Have you tried a normal incandescent light bulb (120 volt, same as light strings) very short cord (2 to 3m) in the channel in question ?

Why I ask, is that if your strings are LED, sometimes they can become "capacitive loading" and fool the channel into not turning off.

i use all led becourse incadescent costs a lot of energy.

i use like 15000 led lights over 80 channels.

some items are 20 metres from the controller i cannot do anything bout that.

try the nightlight (real Bulb) as a test..... one channel on one controller that the channel is staying on.

most nightlights are 7 watts. this is a test,  NOT a final solution.
