mlswayze
I recently upgraded to S5 and started a new show. So far, things are going ok, but I noticed another "bump in the road" I am running a pixie 8 controller with firmware version 1.99 what allows me to run in stand alone. I noticed that the Hardware utility requires a .las extension which I no longer have since I upgraded to S5.1.4. How can I "export" my sequence to my Pixie 8 for stand alone mode?? MattBrown
You need to create a playback file for your sequence, then use the Hardware Utility to upload the resulting .PLAY.LAS file . See the flow chart at the bottom of this help topic: http://www1.lightorama.com/downloads/5.1.4/help/sequences.htm Create Playback Files is on the file menu: http://www1.lightorama.com/downloads/5.1.4/help/sequencer_file_menu.htm Matt

How do I take an LOREDIT file and make it an .las file to function in stand alone mode now? I've tried this with and without the LOR Enhanced Network checked

I've tried this with and without the LOR Enhanced Network checked There are different ways to do it, depending on the version you are using. This is how i create the playback files in 5.4.2. To make the sequence standalone. See this video. This video is for a CMB24D, just pick your controller. Hope this helps. Alan...
zooo
Thanks Alan! My problem was I had a motion effect in the sequence.
rmturner54
From S5 Pro 5.5.14 to create a las file for standalone operation. In the sequencer with the sequence of choice open, go to file and in the drop down select export as lms/las. Its that simple

rmturner54
Thats fine. I was researching to be able to put a S5 sequence on my old spare 16 channel board to use in a standalone setup. Testing the board...working great.
