Turning a DMX intensity to a level for the duration of a sequence

Recommended Posts

If you want to turn a light on for the duration of a sequence its easy, click one of the timing frames press R and the whole row highlights, right click 'insert ON effect'

So what the sequence of events if you want to set a DMX intensity for the duration of a sequence?

OK I worked it out... The mechanism is misleading. press R, right click. select "Insert toolbar effect at max intensity".

Max is defined as the value in the toolbar.

I get why you did it this way but "max" is 255. The definition of max is what ever is set in the limits of the toolbar.

all good but not totally intuative.

Thanks for the feedback. I've changed the right-click menu to read "Insert Toolbar Effect at Max Toolbar Intensity". Also made similar changes to the menu item for Min Intensity, the tooltips for min and max intensity buttons, and the Help > Keyboard Shortcuts pop-up window.
