What happens after 64 channels?

So a lot of the sequences that are offered state they run on 64 channels. So what happens with any channels added after 64?  Do they light up with another channel or do they just stay dark?

Stay dark unless you put commands on those channels. Could copy/paste some of the first 64 into the extra channels. Look at the names of channels and try to match your elements.
