      1/18/2018 - LOR has resumed operations after the fire   01/17/2018

      As of 1/18 we have resumed operations.  On 1/16 a fire occurred in the same building that houses the main LOR offices and manufacturing.    More information can be found in 'Important Announcements'.

"LORTray has stopped working" ?

New to LOR.  Running 4.6.2.  Getting ready to Enable Shows.  Clicked the CP icon and and error keeps popping up saying my LORtray has stopped working.  Shows will not play.

Can somebody dumb this down for me.

Do a complete power off reboot, If that doesn't work, you may want to try reinstalling LOR. Doesn't take long and is usually quite safe, but always back up first.

I have tried shutting down computer and it didnt help.

Now I will try uninstall, reinstall, but I dont know how i would reinstall.

I have my license number but where to get the program I am not sure.

Get the software here:

http://www1.lightorama.com/sequencing-software-download/

Scroll down to the bottom. 4.6.2 doesn't exist, so check again which version you have.

You could also check your license to see if you are eligible to update to a newer version, about halfway down the same page.4.3.26 is the current S4 version. Don't go for the S5 Beta yet though.

Even after an un install it will probably still remember the license key.

Uninstall does not remove your Key.

I'm not up on any of this, so what is the Key and so you have any ideas as to how I can solve this issue?

When I asked LOR, theuhh replied that I needed to uninstall and then reinstall my LOR .

The key is your license (level)  that LOR mailed you

Read my post above, go to the link and download the version of the software you have and reinstall.

On my phone now, more detail if you need it later.
