Create VU meter using SpEx

Recommended Posts

I haven't posted about this in a while.   The SpEx software is available free on my software page to generate VU meters and to assign notes to channels.

Will this work on a 24x50 matrix?

Once you press the Generate EQ button, how long does it usually take to save to the clipboard file?

It varies a lot Jerry.     If your song is long and there and/or many pixels it takes longer.  I have a very fast machine so I dont know how yours will perform.   There is a count down which says which second of the song is being generated followed by another counter of building the clipboard by pixel.

Looks good, gonna add the vu into a couple of my Halloween sequences so the matrix is doing something.

There was a minor release of SpEx to better support AutoFlip.   A small screen glitch was fixed and improvements to clipboard compression were made.  The expiration date was moved out another year.
