A whole lot of questions here.

  1. What type of controllers? How many?
  2. What version of the software are you using?
  3. What license level do you have?
  4. In detail, describe how you are trying to test.
    1. What programs do you have open?
    2. Trying from the sequence editor or hardware utility.
  5. How are the controllers connected to your computer? (Again, in detail, not just "with cables".)

16 controllers I am not sure what type it's a grey box and yes registered

Open the box and on the card it will tell you which model and version you have. Should say Light O Rama .......

When I say card I mean the computer board also known as a pcb or controller itself.

If you don't know which one you have you may find a picture of it here

If this is a new unit it should have came with the step by step how to configure. Maybe a yellow sheet. Did your husband follow the instructions?

Here is the manual for your controller. You have a typo CTB16pcG3

http://www1.lightorama.com/Documents/CTB16PCg3_UserMan_Web.pdf

If he hasn't already done so he should read the manual. There is a setup and configuration section that will be helpful.

Originally you say the "cant get the lights to work and where it says turn lights off wont come ". That will be available once the lights are on.  If you follow the directions and if this is a new unit its not difficult to set the units up.

If you could answer all of Dons questions in his two posts it would help everyone. He is a master at this.

Best of luck

We have that book but nowhere does it say how to turn the lights option on

In detail, describe how you are trying to test.

  1. What (LOR) programs do you have open?
  2. Trying from the sequence editor or hardware utility?
