CTB-16D set id number and led stops flashing??

hope some one can give me some advice

i finished building the board and when i powered it up the led was flashing as descibed and then i went to set the id number to 0 1 the led stops flashing and my computer can not find it in hardware utility

im not sure where to start fault finding?

you post a question and then after reading other post you find the answers

it turned out that i had R2 back to front

unsoldered R2 and changed orientation and now o.k
