Mardi Gras Rolls Royce float - flexible pixel ribbon

I support a mardi gras krew that has a 50 foot Rolls Royce float (see below).  Today we have led rope lighting that works, but we are looking at a lighting upgrade and are interested in pixel level control as well as light strips/ribbons that provide a cleaner, more crisp look than the rope lighting provides.

My question is, as you can see in the picture, I have some curves to navigate and I am unsure of the lighting product that will give us the clean, crisp look we want, while being flexible enough to make the turns in the car body.

Any help would be appreciated - I am sure we are not the first to do this.
