Friend's PC died... trying to help them run Light-O-Rama

I was able to move their hard drive to my PC and mount it as D:. I can access all their created files. Unfortunately, the Light-O-Rama software application was created on a C drive probably from a CD ROM (I presume). Therefore the programs expect to see everything on the C drive.  Originally I though maybe I'd get lucky and be able to change a few references from C: to D:... but no luck.

My thought now is to re-install Light-O-Rama on my C drive and then manually move all their file directories over (all their old data). Will this work? If so, what directories need to move? It seems I can mimic the old file structure and maybe that will work? The other option is to try and install Light-O-Rama on the D:drive and just point the applications to the old directories.

Any other suggestions. I feel happy that their data is still around but doesn't do much good if I can't access it.
