Undo lock up

I'm not sure if its a setting I changed or the computer itself.  If I add color or an effect to channels, decide I don't like it and hit undo SE locks up for 5-10 seconds?  Has anyone ever experience this.

I have messed with the undo recording settings with no luck.  It has only started since I upgraded to 4.3.14.  I've tried uninstalling and re-installing with no luck.

Depends on how complex, and the size of the Undo. If it is complex, say a group of pixels, it may take a few seconds as it has to reload a lot of data.

If it's just one channel and a short effect, it should be quicker.

Doesn't seem to be too picky.  The 'undo' is visible right away..for example red pixel return to black.  But the computer remains locked up for 5-10 seconds.  Some instances I get the 'Not Responding" message on the window title bar.

Could there be too much ram being used by other apps on the computer?

It had crossed my mind.  Going to look through un-needed processes and registry lines that can come out.  Computer is only for sequencing.  All it has is LOR, browser and a couple other programs.

Right now I'm just finding it easier to delete instead of undo
