Will I overload the smart leds if I cut the bundle to length?

I am starting over this year with 70 bundles of WS2811 smart pixels.  Each bundle came in groups of 50 leds.  If I cut these in half  (25 leds) to wrap around a window, will i overload the leds and cause them to burn out early?  Does the circuit board in smart leds prevent this?

Not a problem..cut them to any length you want. you just need to tell the controller how many are in the new strand.

Unlike 120 volt lights, 12 volt lights can be any length you want.
