Can't start SE through simulation window anymore

Normaly I would enter the simulation window, and control the sequence in SE with the 3 buttons at the bottom- stop sim/start SE/stop SE. Now those buttons to nothing (except stop sim). 

I can start the sequence in SE and it works the simulation but not the other way around. 

any ideas what I did wrong?

rebot comp mine does that every once in a while and you need to reboot and restart  usally works for me

Thanks but have done that several times. It might work once, but returns to not working correctly.

I tried several things and couldn't get it to not work. I am using the same version as you are. Does the music play when you press the play button or does it just not respond?

The "play SE" and "stop SE" has been doing nothing at all. NOW, TONIGHT I tried it and all is working again. I tried to duplicate the scenarios from the past week but I can not get it to NOT play correctly.

This may be a fluke or something on my end.

Spashall and Kingfish, thanks for your help. I will try again in a few days and see if it acts up again and let you know.
