I am thinking of this setup:

computer to CMB24D (to run http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/252441412796?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&var=551301102472&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)

then rj45 to CTP16PC to run my lights motifs etc,

then rj45 to another CMB24D to run spotlights (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/10W-RGB-LED-Flood-Light-Spotlight-Outdoor-Waterproof-Lamp-Remote-Colored-Round-/112089940277?var=&hash=item1a1914c135:m:mdLxE4yP5JYvEM9-06CNHaw)

does this sound ok ??

Your layout and the strip lights look okay but you will have to look closely at the spotlights. The spotlights look to be controlled internally so you would have to see if they could be hacked. Ideally you would want spotlights that would use an external controller such as the LOR spotlight package.

But if you have to have after market here is an example of externally controlled spotlights:

If you look closely the cord has four wires for an external controller.

Those would be the easiest so they could be plugged into the CMB24. If they are internally controlled then you have to open the lights and see if they can be re-wired (hacked) so they can be controlled externally.

Most lights that come with a remote are internally controlled unless they are plugged into a provided control box. Example: the strip lights you posted have a remote but the lights plug into a small white control box (external controller) then the power supply. You would not use the power supply or the white control box as the CMB24 is the control box so you would only use the strip lights.

ok understanding a bit more now, most of the led spotlights over here or in china have 23 or 3 wires, struggling to find them

Look at Ray Wu's store. I think he has what you need.

It is possible to modify the ones that come with remotes, but takes some electronics understanding.

What lights are you using?

You networking is fine, but you may have issues with those lights.  Looking at the photos of the strips, some of the photos have the entire strip the same color, and some have different color patterns.  That would imply that they are smart strips rather than dumb strips as would be needed to use the CMB24D.  Unfortunately since they expect you to use their controller, no information is given on what type of strip they are.  Same issue with the spots, there just is not enough information about what is really required.  You might be able to hack the spotlights, but maybe not.  As someone else said, go to Ray Wu's store on Alibaba - http://www.aliexpress.com/store/701799 .  Ray understands us lighting nuts and will work with you to make sure you get what you need.  BTW, one tip about buying stuff from Ray.  Don't just use the automated Alibaba shopping cart.  Send Ray a message requesting a quote on exactly the part numbers and quantity you want.  He will give you a quote that will likely save you a BUNCH on shipping.  The Alibaba shopping cart bases shipping as if each item was shipped separately, so it adds up fast on a larger order.  As I recall, my last Ray Wu order, saved about $100 on shipping by getting the quote.
