rogerh
Hey all, I use a LOR1602 with built-in G3-MP3 Showtime Director to run my show. I don't use a laptop. I was looking to start using Smart Pixels with E1.31. I can only find setups using laptops/computers and a network switch. If I want to add smart pixels with a PixCon16, do I need to swap out my setup and run it from a laptop? Thanks, Roger
worksopian
You could use a Raspberry Pi with the Falcon Pi Player software to run over 100,000 pixels.
larryk5
If you are using a PixCon controller you can use the showtime director, but it has to be the newest one. You could run it in LOR mode with the director.
Dennis Laff
Whatever setup you have now you need a laptop or desktop to program the pixels
rogerh
Thanks guys.. I have a new Raspberry PI, so that might be something new and fun. I think I'll try to run off the showtime directory first though, as Larry said. I'll have to keep using the computer to program everything though Thanks, Roger
