bbrescia
I am running my LOR AC controllers in DMX mode and sequencer 4.2.6 Pro. When I have set a particular channel (Device Type: DMX Universe) and group of cells to 50% intensity (DMX intensity tool at 128), there is no visible effect on the light prop. This is important to my show because I have several props that talk and sing - I'd like to dim the ones that are not talking at a particular moment. Half intensity should be a very visible difference in dimming - no?
Dennis Cherry
Try going to around 25% intensity. LED's do not fade linear. Most fading in between 5 & 25 persent.
k6ccc
Dennis has it half right. Go for a lower level and you should be fine. Just try different levels until you get what you want by looking at the lights. Actually LEDs fade far more linearly than does an incan light. The problem is that human eyes are FAR from linear, and more closely match that of an incan. The result is that to human eyes it appears that LEDs are quite non-linear. To a light meter, the story is quite different.
