Dumb RGB sequence on Smart Mega tree

Ok, so not every song i have will utilize a  complex sequence on the mega tree. I created a dumb RGB mega tree in VIZ, then import it into SS, created a nice sequence using instant sequence, now question is, how do i transfer it it into my show when my Mega tree uses smart pixels?

You can combine your sequences into one sequence by using copy/paste or by playing them as a subsequence. Do a subsequence is easiest. Have you done a subsequence before?

There is a tutorial on it. Go to the lightorama main page, click on "Support" then click on "Tutorials". The superstar tutorials are near the bottom. Look for "Getting Superstar Sequences into Main Sequences"

The tutorial covers copy/paste and subsequences. The tutorial is old, it mentions a bug in subsequences that make them play out of sync. The bug has since been fixed. Subsequences play in sync now.

I may have worded my first post wrong. I want to play the Dumb RGB sequence eon my Mega tree that uses smart pixels. Trying to copy and paste each effect from the dumb sequence to smart tree would take hours. Trying to find out if there is a faster way.

A sequence for dumb RGB strings would likely not look good on a mega tree that uses smart pixels.

When I mention copy/paste, I mean that you export the sequence and then you copy/paste it in the Sequence Editor.

I think i got it figured out. I need to copy all three channels at once, then i can paste  them in to the entire string by using the paste multiple feature and choose to end of string. I was able to run a test using xlights, that lights up the entire string one color at a time, looked good thats how i thought about doing this, but i will take a video as soon as i can get some testing done and post it for ya Brian.
