Dcroc
I have a sequence, but it is 2 songs, and I only want one of them. How do I remove/delete the first 3:26 of the sequence?

Mega Arch
Then start a new sequence with the shorter song. Copy and paste the timings for that section to the new sequence.
mpageler
I just did this for the first time in shortening a song..pretty easy.I found a good place to cut the song off and then reduced the sequence time to that point.Went into Audacity and found that same point in the song, clicked on that time point, hightlighted the song to the end and hit the delete key and re-saved the song.Have backups of your originial song/sequence, just in case. Santas Helper
To save the second half of that sequence... After you shortened the audio, go to the sequence. Click any channel on the time frame you want to start the sequence (3.26). Then click "Edit" and click on "Skew Track". Select "Skew to the Left (earlier)" and put in the time you want to move everything to the beginning. In your case it would be 3.26. You should be pretty close to where you want to be. Jaynee
Ugh - found it. I'm an idiot. For those that need to know - if you click into "Edit" And "Change Total Time" you can shorten your sequence.
Santas Helper
Ugh - found it. I'm an idiot. For those that need to know - if you click into "Edit" And "Change Total Time" you can shorten your sequence. Did it shorten the beginning of the sequence or the end of the sequence? Reason why I ask is because it depends on what part of the sequence you want to shorten. Your description shortens the end of the sequence, the steps I posted earlier shortens the first part of the sequence, which for this thread and the original poster would be the way to do it. But either way, glad you found it. Edited November 8, 2015 by Santas Helper
