Dcroc Posted May 24, 2015 Share Posted May 24, 2015 (edited) Looking at DMX fog machines. Will any DMX controlled fogger work with LOR, or is there something special I need to look for? I am finding foggers for as low as $35 on fleebay, and they say the are DMX, but I have a feeling, as with anything in this hobby, I'm not getting off that cheap? EmmienLightFan Posted May 25, 2015 Share Posted May 25, 2015 A $35 fogger probably is not very bad. There is little to go wrong, and if it says it has DMX, then it must. Buy some 3pin DMX cables (It is unlikely that it is 5 pin) and go from the out of the first fixture to the in of the second and so on. Just like with LOR controllers but different cables.
