Thank-you! Exporting Network Config

Recommended Posts

Being able to export/import network configuration, and/or include them with the channel configuration is a great feature.

Sample output from exported file:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Light-O-Rama\Shared\ixNet]"Created"="4/28/2015 4:26:59 PM""ListNetworks"=dword:00000001"NetworkDasher"=dword:00000000"NetworkX10"=dword:00000000"DMXListenerPort"=dword:00002285"OldMCP-NewRegVal"=dword:00000000"NetworkLightORama"=dword:00000001"LorSpeed"=dword:00000002"Enhanced"=dword:00000000"Uses ACN"=dword:00000000"ACN IP Address Type"=dword:00000001"ACN IP Address"="""ACN Send To Port"=dword:00000000blah ... blah ... blah[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Light-O-Rama\Shared\ixNet\DMX1]"Adapter"="""Uses E131"=dword:00000001"E131 IP Address Type"=dword:00000001"E131 IP Address"="192.168.1.207""E131 Send To Port"=dword:000015c0"Protocol"=dword:00000003[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Light-O-Rama\Shared\ixNet\DMX8]"Adapter"="""Uses E131"=dword:00000001"E131 IP Address Type"=dword:00000001"E131 IP Address"="192.168.1.208""E131 Send To Port"=dword:000015c0"Protocol"=dword:00000003[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Light-O-Rama\Shared\ixNet\DMX9]"Adapter"="""Uses E131"=dword:00000001"E131 IP Address Type"=dword:00000001"E131 IP Address"="192.168.1.208""E131 Send To Port"=dword:000015c0"Protocol"=dword:00000003blah ... blah ... blah

You may be mis-reading what that 'List Networks' option does.

That is an old option (from at least S2) that tells the SE if you want to see the Network Drop-down or not when defining channels.  It does not limit any network list to only showing defined networks.

Basically when turned OFF that is EASY mode for users who only have REG (and nothing else).  When turned ON, you get REG, AUX-A thru AUX-O.
