sasmuse
Hello All,Been having fun viewing everyone's shows. It's nice to have the time to enjoy the creativity. I'd thought I'd throw mine into the mix. Feel free to comment...there's always something to learn! I'm especially happy with the way the dubstep came out...may have to do another dubstep song this year. George Simmons
Looks great! I especially like the way you actually took the time and effort to synchronize your pixel tree to the music, rather than just running the mindless, random patterns that so many people choose to do. Kudos to you!
sasmuse
Thanks all. And George, thanks for noticing the work on the pixel tree. This is my 3rd year with it, and I think I'm starting to understand how to get it do what I want. Still a lot to learn, but that's the fun part! George Simmons
My comment wasn't intended to cast aspersions on anyone's talent, but rather their choices. Pixel trees are great and wonderful. I'm jealous (in a good way) of most that I've seen, and one of these years, perhaps even this one, I'll add something like that to my display also. I find it sad that so many people spend the time and money to erect one, and then all they do is run patterns to show off that they a pixel tree. If I have the choice of watching oodles and oodles of bright and clever patterns that have no discernible relation to the music, or watching someone's work, like Sally's, where there's synchronization with the music, I'll choose hers any day. I took no offense at all to what you said, I was just making the observation that for some of us like me, just making my mega tree with the RGB look good will be a win for me. I will play with Super Star and watch the tutorials over and over because i would like to run some text as well. With SS doing the bulk of the work for me on my regular LED strands hopefully i can spend more time working on the mega tree.

Joe Polenchar
Sally, Great job. Loved the pixel tree. You have some talent to be able to do the sequencing that you did.You are not that far from me. I would love to see your display in person sometime. Daryl Hurd
Really good job on the Pixel tree.. Nice sequences all around... The Reed Flute and Gettin’ in the Mood are good choices for music.. I am going to have to add that to our song list..If you like those songs you might like the BareNaked Ladies Jingle Bells song..
Jeff Messer
Great Job Sally. Your singing faces has been a huge hit on my show. I did go with a pixel tree last year and it was a hit. Between LOR and xlights I made a few images come to life. The American Flag and the picture of Jesus was the best. Jeff
