Most "used" sales are fairly rare, and get posted here (and the usual other groups) and get snatched up pretty quickly if the price is right. MikeERWNC Posted January 6, 2014 Share Posted January 6, 2014 Not sure I would buy used.One mans junk could be your nightmare.I spend hours every year testing and replacing LEDs on my older strands.They can only take so much being beat on the side of the house by the wind.I also have no problem throwing a set in the garbage if I can't fix in in under a half hour. Commercial grade holds up very well and is easily fixed if a diode goes bad. I wouldn't buy non-sealed LEDs used unless they were VERY cheap. If you are wanting to clear up some space in your storage area or just unload something your not using in your display any longer. I have 96 channels of LOR AC controllers I didn't use this year and want to put them to work! Any help in this new adventure is gratefully appreciated!
