DrNiceGuy
Hello, All:If you have several CAT5E daisy-chained controllers, does the 100 meter limit still apply? Or is each controller boosting the signal? In other words, can I have 20 controllers with 10 meters of CAT5E between each controller?Thanks,-Roy

James Shelby
Jeff, So, for sure, the 400 feet from 1st controller to the PC won't be a problem.
DrNiceGuy
Thanks everyone! Looks like I shouldn't have any issues with long runs between controllers...

If you are running the USB485B adapter, the one with 2 cat5 jacks. The 4000' rule still aplies, it does not mean you can now run 8000'. There is actually a loop going thru the cat5 which is why there is a limit.
