You guys are killing me, I would like to program that many songs but at 192 channels it has taken me 15 to 20 hours per minute. I started in January and all I have is 14 songs, my mind has turned to mush and everytime I have the raido on my head starts to twitch to the beat please make it go away! But I will add more next year.

14 songs is not a shabby list. I started in March and finished up the end of July.

I have 176 channels and adding six new songs this year. Forgot about the intro's and announcements.

I started programming music in July. I only tweak past year's songs/

Holding down the Shift key when hitting Enter will cause the cursor to only go down one line, while a "regular" Enter key will go down two lines....

I think, from what I've seen in other's videos, I have put a lot of detail into my sequences. Some fokes do put as much detail as mine but I think the size of my display has a lot to do with it too. I would hate to have something going on and 300 feet away it's in the dark. When I laid it out it just fell into place. Then you add it all up, buy the channels and start programing. The last light count as of today is around 172,000 mini's. I'm still working on a few songs and we will see by November what the song count will be.

I went from 16 channels last year to 160 this year. I started programming in June/July and I only have about 4 songs done. I spend 4-5 hours a night and have melted 3 mice. (I've had to switch and use the right click as my main)
I was hoping to have about 9-10 songs but I don't think I'm gonna make it.

My list so far is:

1. Wish Liszt
2. Wizards in Winter TSO (as if I had to type it)
3. Deck the Halls
4. Carol of the Bells (Mannheim Steamroller)
5. Jingle Bells (Techno Version, unsure of the artist)
6. Music Box Dancer (James Last)

Is it just me or does everybody see grid lines when they close their eyes??

WOW!! Sounds like many of you are retired with nothing better to do than sequence songs or addicted to sequencing. Wish I had the time and patience that you have.

I work all day and try to program some at night.

I have 5 songs done and few more to do.

I thought 88 channels was plenty!! I can not bare the thought of programming 176 channels. You have my deepest respect and sympathy.

I learned that the cut & paste function can be your friend when it comes to sequencing songs. I also learned that holding the shift key and pressing the up down arrow keys can save time copying from a column. Hold down the shift key and hit the end key will also save time copying complete rows. These steps are much quicker than the mouse.

In other threads it was advised to keep your song list short because you want to keep the traffic moving. I had 9 songs last year and there were times that traffic was not moving very well.

Good luck to all with your displays!

I spend no more than an hour at a time sequencing. But, I did so nearly every night from March until the end of July (160 channels, then revising them to 208 channels).

That way, I did not get too burned out watching sequences.

The trade off is that I do not watch much television. But, it is not like I care whats on the tube anyway after College or pro football season is over.

I do wake up hearing the music in my head, that is the worst part of it -- that, and listening to my daughter grouse about listening to music 3 seconds at a time.

They forced me to use headsets this year. I couldn't be happier.

Could someone please come up with a list of hot keys used in LOR. We hear of them all the time, but I have yet to see a list. (Don you out there?)

Check out the help menu in the sequencer, goto "Editing Sequences Using the Keyboard". You will see the shortcuts listed in the text. Took me a while to realize that they were there.
