k6ccc
I have not used mini trees, but for 2015, I will be adding some of the Holiday Coro Hexa trees. http://www.holidaycoro.com/HexaTree-p/115.htm Most everything in my display is defused RGB lighting, so the coro trees make sense for me. Grinch
+1 on the tomato cages (8). Last year was the first year and I just staked them directly to the ground, then used a waterproof connector on the male end. I had no problems with them tripping the GFCI I will consider myself lucky last year.
worksopian
I use a 3 foot white artificial tree with a custom stand I made that pounds into the ground to be secure. Wrapped in 50 RGB dumb nodes and hooked up to a 27 channel DMX controller. They are extremely bright I can get any color I want they even looked better with snow on them. and I wouldn't hesitate to do it again. Ed,Do you have pictures/ video of your RGB mini trees, I want to go in that direction myself but wondered how the 50 dumb pixels looked....are they enough? Thanks, Steve
Phrog30
HolidayCoro is adding pixel mini trees item 778 in q2 this year. Not sure of specifics, but you may contact David and ask about them.
