dmoore Posted November 1, 2012 Share Posted November 1, 2012 The V2 software no longer works with the LOR dongle for programming the HolidayCoro DMX controllers - it only works with the RS485 cable provided with the software.It is NOT possible to just wire a USB port to a CAT5 cable and have it work - there is a FTDI serial chip and an RS485 chip inside the "dongle".Have you gone back to the vendor that sold you the controllers and asked if they sell the hardware programmer?
