Coop Posted September 28, 2012 Share Posted September 28, 2012 I ordered 2 sets of CCB's at the summer sale this year and was considering going wireless (CCB's are going on house and garage). How do you power Ell's for cosmic color devices? The manual states that Ell's need to be connected to a controller or a USB 485B. One of the CCB controllers would be connected to a 485B but the next one in line would not. The work around of course would be to link the two CCB's together with a cable which would work but I would like the 2 CCB's, CCR and the CTB16 to all be wireless. The ELL is powered over the Cat5 cable via the 485B connection. Most people have a few ELLs to get to hard to reach areas. But the daisy chain their controllers and CC devices via cat5 connection.
