Visualizer not simulating

Ok, so I have checked the com/ref on both the sequence editor and the visualizer, and I have ensured that the control visualizer option is checked. I have allowed access through the firewall for the visualizer, and I press play on both the visualizer's bar and the sequence editor, and still nothing. Not sure what the problem could be. Just so you're aware, I have installed the S3 Suite on a different computer, and I loaded my channel config file and visualizer file from the old computer. I can't figure this one out.

I take it you didn't run the visualizer on the new machine before updating to 3.1.4?

not that it should matter...

and I take it the old machine is also at 3.1.4...

again...should not matter, just trying to find any differences...

and I take it you can hear the audio...just no visualizer...

Like Jim said, the sequence and audio do play, correct?

You are also getting the

"UDP Simulation active on 127.0.0.1 (30303)" at the bottom of the visualizer window?

just to be sure...is it still checked?

I have had instances (albeit in S2) that sometimes things get unchecked for whatever reason...

and is it just ONE particular sequence...or any and all?

Yes, it is still checked. Also, no sequences are working. I even made a small animation loop with a totally new channel config and a whole new visualization file, "wired" the channels, and still nothing.
