bob
Version 3.1.4 of the Light-O-Rama Software Suite has been released. This is mostly the same as 3.1.2, but contains an important bug fix for the LOR Control Panel which could (eventually) lead to strange issues during your show, such as crashes and lockups. We highly recommend that anyone using any version of S3 (i.e. version 3.0.0 or up) upgrades to version 3.1.4, with the following exception:If your license covers only version 3.0, and you do not wish to purchase a license renewal so that you can use 3.1, do not install 3.1.4. Instead, we will soon be releasing a version 3.0.4 which fixes the same bug, but based on version 3.0.2 instead of 3.1.2. We will add a reply to this thread indicating when that is done, and where you can get 3.0.4 from. You can get the installer for version 3.1.4 from the software download page:http://www.lightorama.com/SoftwareDownloadPage.htmlIf that page says some version earlier than 3.1.4, please use your browser's "Refresh" button. bob
Hmmm - make that two exceptions:If you are a Beta tester who is currently using version 3.1.100, don't install 3.1.4. Instead, we will be releasing a new Beta version that includes this bug fix. I'll post something to the Beta forums when it's ready.
bob
OK, version 3.0.4 has been released.Version 3.0.4 should only be used by people who have version 3.0.0 or 3.0.2 installed, and either don't want to or cannot install version 3.1.4 (for example, if your license covers up to version 3.0.*, but does not cover 3.1.*, and you don't want to purchase a license renewal). There is no need to install 3.0.4 if you already have 3.1.anything, or if you plan on using 3.1.4. Just install 3.1.4 instead. If you do want version 3.0.4, you can get it from the software download page mentioned in the first post in this thread (look near the bottom of the page, in the "Past Versions of Software" section).
