Wiring Mini Trees with a Common Ground (Neutral)

Help! Show begins tomorrow (Sunday) night and management moved the location of the controller. I need to wire my 4 sets of 8 mini trees (8 channels) with a common neutral to save wire.
Does anyone have a diagram? I can't grasp the concept, especially where you break the set of 8 out into 4 channel ones, 4 channel twos, etc. -- without a drawing.

Just make sure you keep all the neutrals straight on the male and female plugs (used polarized plugs for sure). I do this with a wiring harness that powers 12 wireframe C9 bulbs that hang between two trees. Works great, and saves a lot of wire (I actually use 20 gauge wire for the hots and 18 for the shared neutral, since each of the "bulbs" has only 35 lights on it - makes the whole thing only slightly larger than a pair of SPT-2)
