  1. Me too please! Many thanks!!!! bford47@live.com
  2. I would love a copy as well. I've have so many issues with setup this year I haven't been able to do any new songs.. It would be very much appreciated!! bford47@live.com Thanks!!!
  3. Very well said! And thank you Mega Arch!
  4. Lol some would say it's not, but it takes a lot more physical activity than the layman knows. I once ran a hundred lap race (which is a lot for the ole Saturday night dirt car) and by the time it was over I had lost 6lbs. It was a workout to be sure lol. It also takes lots of hand, eye, foot coordination. Your constantly making decisions on where to go when to go and how fast you get there. In this type of racing sometimes slower is faster. All this while you have to maintain vigilance on all the other cars on the track and be able to react to what they do. And that's not even scratching the surface of what kind of intelligence it takes. Anyone can drive a car around a track, but it takes something else to be able to drive it quick and finish consistently in the top. But to answer your question, yes, I believe it is a sport. Lol. Didn't mean to get long winded.Lol
  5. I tried that but the 'remove' button is shaded. It doesn't give me the option of clicking it. I've tried to find files associated with it and so far no luck. But yet upon opening a sequence, it still gives the error message.
  6. Hey guys. I've seen this several times but have yet to figure out why this error message keeps popping up on some sequences. "background image file does not exist". These are sequences I received from others who created them. I'm assuming it's associated with an animation they built but I don't have the background file to. Is there a way to "clear" this error message? I'm hoping this is an easy fix that lots of people have seen before and know what to do.
  7. No problem. No I don't really know what hexadecimal addressing is but what you explained makes a lot of sense. I know how controllers "look" for the signals being sent out over the network and I understand that. The addressing system I'm a little fuzzy on but its ok too. I don't know exactly how the tv remote works but I know how to make it do what I want it to do. The same thing for LOR...haha. I'll keep putting on my shows and doing what I know how to do. Oh, and as for the "off season" I'll stick to what I do know best....building and driving racecars hehe. (which I'm sad to say is only marginally more than what I know about LOR) hehehe.......thanks for the input tho!!
  8. Just curious and I apologize if this question has been asked several times over but I was wondering, why does LOR have so many strange unit I.D. #'s for the controllers? Why not just number them in sequential order?
  9. Hey guys I got a new one on me. One of my controllers was working fine then all of a sudden the whole left bank of channels quit working. Checked fuses and made sure had power to both sides (two seperate 15 amp circuits) and still channels 1 through 8 do not work....any ideas or suggestions?
  10. Hi everybody. I got a problem that is really setting me back and was wondering if anybody had any suggestions. I was working on my sequences the other day and my main visualizer file popped up with a "Light o rama visualizer has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." And that's as far as i can get with it. I have about 3 other files in the visualizer that work perfectly. But this one will not. And it's a major problem because it's my main display which has 256 channels and i have no time to reprogram the entire file. I hope and pray that someone has an idea of how to recover the file......I have backed it up before but it has been way too long and the backup will do me almost no good. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks in advance
  11. Not to ruffle any feathers or anything but I never have to refresh. I can close the hu out, do whatever I want, open it back up and have full control of all controllers without having to refresh. The controllers don't show back up in the hu list but you can still control them. The only time I have to refresh is when I have unplugged a controller or 2....i can see its easy to think you have to every time. Heck, I did for a while. Let me know what your experiences are
  12. I currently run about 4000 ft of spt2 with vampire plugs. I have 160 channels and try to keep the plugs off the ground and have no issues. I user the spt2 just for the extra3 amp rating compared to the spt1. Some of my stuff is pushing the limits as well lol.
  13. Haha....had my phone out using it for a flashlight when I found the little fella and still didn't think about taking his picture.....you can tell photography is not one of my hobbies...lol
  14. Hmmm, ok.I filed a ticket to see what I need to do to get this fixed but have yet to great anything....guess theyre extremely busy
