.... you can see the wonder in their eyes.

Alan..they probably wonder what whats wrong with this woman! LOL  But I can tell you, Im a nurse that has always been 100% about serving her community...this is just another way of doing it but its just on STEROIDS!!  We are excited for tomorrow evening.  I woke up this morning to news media requests....it never ends and sometimes I get tired, but tomorrow night when all the people come, thank you for all the work and tell you how wonderful it all is...it makes everything worth it!

I have logistics question. How are you networking this show? Crossing property lines and city streets. Just curious.

    Thanks.

Yes about 50 ELL's and 9 networks.  Organization is the key to all of this.  Everything is labeled/numbered or we just couldnt do it!

Im sure after Jim comes and hangs out- he will know how the magic is created!  lol

My guess is that LOR wants to err on the side of caution and remove every item they possibly can from the help desk inventory of issues that they need to deal with.

I've also been using powered USB hubs for years starting when my network count first exceeded the number of available ports on the PC.  I've moved from a four port hub up to an eight and now a ten, and have never had any issues whatsoever with their use.

Thanks for the info George and thats good to know since we have even more neighbors wanting to join in which equals even more networks!

  4. Just wanted to share an issue we had and how it was fixed.  We do multiple house with multiple networks.  3 streets are involved.  When we initially set up, 2 of the streets, their lights were stuck on or randomly flashed when I ran a test program, when instead they were to turn on one at a time. Initially, in order to save time/poles, my husband placed both the transmitting and receiving ELL's on the same pole. Bad idea.  Magically, once we separated the transmitting and receiving ELL's, the show came on and worked perfectly.  Just wanted to share so hopefully no one else experiences the same issue.  Thanks!
